To achieve and maintain a healthy weight, be physically active and choose amounts of nutritious food and drinks to meet your child’s energy needs, your children should eat sufficient nutritious foods to grow and develop normally. At 3Bees ELC we provide a different weekly meal plan that rotates every four weeks. All meals are cooked in the centre by a qualified commercial chef, who cooks with only FRESH ingredients.

While at 3Bees ELC your child will enjoy a wide variety of nutritious foods from these five food groups every day they are in our care.

  • Plenty of vegetables, including different types and colours, and legumes/beans
  • Fruit
  • Grain (cereal) foods, mostly wholegrain and/or high cereal fibre varieties, such as breads, cereals, rice, pasta, noodles, polenta, couscous, oats, quinoa and barley
  • Lean meats and poultry, fish, eggs, tofu, nuts and seeds, and legumes/beans
  • Milk, yoghurt, cheese and/or their alternatives, mostly reduced fat (reduced fatmilks are not suitable for children under the age of 2 years)
  • Drink plenty of water.

If your child has ANY dietary requirement or restriction we will accomodate it. 3 Bees ELC is a culturally inclusive centre; as such we accomodate all dietary requires: we can provide diary free, egg free, vegetarian, pork free, halal-friendly meals. If your child has any allergies or intolerances we will accomodate them.
